Mehrdad Ghanbari

Electronics Engineer and Consultant of iBOTS eLab
Neuroscience Electronics Lab
University of Cologne

Introduction

I completed my high school diploma and bachelor’s degree in Electronic Technology Engineering in Iran. During my master’s studies starting in 2019, I worked at the Zoological Institute of the University of Cologne. My primary responsibilities included the planning and implementation of hardware and software projects in the field of electrophysiology and microscopy, in addition to various tasks in neurobiology. These experiences helped me successfully complete my master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at TH Köln.

My passion and experience in the field of electronic design and Research and Development (R&D) led me to my current position at iBehave. Here, I focus on the iBOTS – Electronics Platform at the University of Cologne (read more here). The platform aims to provide researchers with guidance and resources, as well as design principles needed to develop their own specialized electronic solutions.
