I have a background in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, as well as a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Oslo. During my PhD, I developed a large-scale biophysically detailed model of the mouse primary visual cortex, capable of realistically simulating electrophysiological data across scales—from single-neuron spikes to population-level local field potentials. This work involved close collaboration with researchers at the University of California San Diego and the Allen Institute in Seattle, allowing me to validate the model against experimental data. Currently, I work as a research software consultant in the iBOTS team, where I support researchers in the iBehave network with software and data analysis tools and methods.
