The University of Cologne, in collaboration with the iBehave Network, has opened a new Professorship (W2) position in Neuroscience at the Institute of Zoology.

Join our dynamic neuroscience community in Cologne and be at the forefront of experimental neuroscience research. We seek an exceptional scientist with a strong research profile, eager to bridge their insights to computational neurosciences. If you are renowned in basic neuroscience and have consistently secured third-party funding, we are keen to hear from you!

It is worth highlighting that the newly appointed professor will have the exceptional opportunity to collaborate with 49 Principal Investigators specializing in diverse realms of neuroscience, brain, and behavior research in the Rhein area. Additionally, they will benefit from the state-of-the-art technology platforms curated by the iBehave network.

This position plays a pivotal role in 'iBehave: Algorithms of Adaptive Behaviour and their Neuronal Implementation in Health and Disease' collaborative network program, offering a chance to integrate with other research initiatives at the University of Cologne.
