iBehave at the German Neuroscience Olympiad 2026

The iBehave Network is excited to take part in this year’s German Neuroscience Olympiad 2026, taking place on March 14, 2026 at the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology of Behavior – caesar in Bonn.

As part of the interactive NeuroExpo, members of the iBehave CADRE and eLab teams from the University of Bonn and University of Cologne will showcase how engineering and neuroscience come together in modern research.

Visitors will be able to experience several hands-on demonstrations, including:
Live 3D printing to illustrate how additive manufacturing supports neuroscience research and prototyping.
• An interactive “Open” drum kit, using capacitance and microcontrollers that allow everyday objects to become musical instruments.
• A neuroscience demonstration setup showing how additive manufacturing and physiological measurements can be combined to generate experimental data.

CADRE Head Trace Robbins, will also participate in the event’s Ask-Me-Anything session, engaging directly with students and sharing insights into interdisciplinary research at the intersection of neuroscience, engineering, and technology.

We look forward to inspiring the next generation of neuroscientists and innovators!
